The Pony Express Rider.

Revelation 19

11And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

12His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.

13And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

14And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

The Word of God rides a white horse and so do all that follow Him. They are the heavenly pony express. The pony express between Saint Joseph and Sacramento are a shadow of this.

The Word cut His way across this land well before any had a revelation of Him by which they mingle their faith with Him. Men mishandled him and yet He conquered. Men wrote covenants with men and then broke them. But He remains true. By 1860, the east was connected to the west as far as Saint Joseph, both by train and telegraph. But now came the time of the swift riders. Messengers. Messengers carrying Words written and riding swift horses, joined the town of Holy Increase and the town of Holy Remembrance. This is a fabulous sign in recent Saint Joseph history. Today the reality is held by those that ride in the revelation of the word and His Messengers. Back then, young men risk their lives to cross through hostile land to bring the Word between these cities. Today the Messengers do the same in the Spirit to bring Holy Remembrance to the sons of God. They follow the Word in His ride upon His white horse.

Remember that this land was occupied by speakers before the word came from Europe. In England 1825 the Word began to reveal Himself to a few believers in a new way. historically they are called "The Plymouth Brethren". really they were the sign of the Philadelphia time in the mystery of the seven golden lampstands (Revelation 2-3), which are the measure of the whole age. As the Word was making His advance in America out in the western saint Joseph, He was also revealing Himself in a new way in England. this Philadelphia time lasted until about the time gold was discovered in California and then came the seventh and final measure of the age.....Laodicea. For sure those in Saint Joseph were ignorant to what was happening in England, and yet the Word was advancing here, preparing the way for today's revelation of the rider of the white horse.

The Messenger

Horses are not native to America. They were brought here by Spanish explorers. They became crucial to the Westward movement. In 1861 they took up where the Iron Horse(train) ended. They made a link between the east and the west coast.

All things are a shadow of the reality. As the time of the coming of Jesus Christ in his kingdom drew near the signs have multiplied. The discovery of America and then the great discoveries here have shadowed His coming. such things as electric lights, combustion engine, flight and space flight and now even the computer world are all shadow of His coming. The Messengers going out on Horse back from Saint Joseph to the west were also a sign of His coming.

The Hannibal-Saint Joseph railroad placed Saint Joseph as the farthest west point in the Union. As the war broke out it became crucial to link to the west and the Pony Express did the job for a year and a half until telegraph lines were established. This made saint Joseph crucial to the Union.

The Pony Express and the Civil War

By 1859 more gold was discovered in Colorado and Saint Joseph was booming. The East was about to be linked to Saint Joseph via the Hannibal saint Joseph railway. There was desire to link the east to California and the west. From this need came the Pony Express. Saint Joseph had become the linking point. But at the same time it was entering a great trial that would set it back- the Civil War. Saint Joseph became a key spot in the war. Not as to all out battles such as Gettysburg or Vicksburg or Shiloh, etc. But it was crucial to link the East and the West. It was a disputed city in a disputed state. The Star of Missouri appeared on both the Rebel flag and the Union flag. The city was divided and much trouble came. Saint Joseph's growth was stunted by the events of the Civil War in it's streets.

Gold

As saint Joseph began to be established, in timely fashion Gold was discovered in California. Gold in California brought the pioneers from the east in great waves into Saint Joseph. 1849. Three main places became the door for western wagons. 1. Independence, 2. Westport. 3. Saint Joseph. saint Joseph became the most crucial. There were those heading north to Oregon, but the discovery of gold caused more immigrants to head further south. This caused Saint Joseph population to more than doubled from 1846-49. And then to double again the next year-1850. And the streets of saint Joseph filled with the many coming to get supplies and then take the ferry across the river to begin the 2000 mile trip. Many had to wait in tents for their turn and for the grass to green out in Kansas and for the snow in the passes to be gone. So they lingered here. Suddenly Saint Joseph became the frontier doorway. Gold in California was the focal discussion in Saint Joseph. Saint Joseph grew and thrived on the west coast gold rush. Saint Joseph offered advantages. At 1849, 19 stores were in operation. There were two flour mills, two saw mills, nine blacksmith shops, two sheet iron mills, two saddle shops. Everything needs was here at cheaper price than in Westport or Independence. 10-30 percent less price. By 1850 Saint Joseph was one of the busiest places in the nation. Half the western movement passed through Saint Joseph.

The Word

Man must receive an unspeakable gift from his creator. This gift can gloriously be spoken about, but its reality must be touched. "In the beginning was the Word". This Word is God. Through the name of His only begotten son Jesus Christ, in due time, He shall obtain a people that can write in faith. Then creation shall be liberated by their hand. the New Testament was translated from Greek. Our English Word is either Rhema or Logos in Greek. Rhema is spoke Word and Logos must be written. Thus the Bible comes to us over the millenniums as written. And now those of faith can also begin to write the Truth into today's world. Once you see this, it is a wonderful thing to study the history of the Word and His development in man. He comes into the hand of man long before man comes to revelation and adds in faith. "He was in the world, but the world knew Him not."

I write of the Words coming to what he has called Saint Joseph. The tribes that were here, did not have a written language. Then spoke. They mainly had an oral history. They did have sign language, but this is to use their hands much like their tongues. They drew some pictures on walls of rocks, and on teepee's, and on clothing. But they did not write. This one thing placed them behind what was developing in the "old world". In the 1700's the Frenchmen began to come into this tribal area. And in 1804 Lewis and Clark wrote here, where I now write. We know this because we still have that writing! They pioneered deep into the wilds of this land and they wrote. They wrote their way into this Blacksnake landing. Forty years later, Joseph Robidoux went to Saint Louis to obtain the written authority to incorporate a city at this spot. How quickly the writing had developed.

It was around this time, that my great-great-great-grandfather came to this area from Tennessee. Soon Saint Joseph, would become the far western outpost for the launching forth of waves of pioneers to the west. In 1843 Saint Joseph came into being when Joseph used the Word to sell portions of the land. Such a thing was unthinkable to the tribes before the Frenchman Joseph came. But the fact is, the Word was going to subdue this ground into the name of Saint Joseph and nothing to stop that.

The State of Missouri was admitted to the Union in 1821. It was the 24 Th state.
But this area was assigned to the tribes. In 1836 that would change and set the way for saint Joseph. The United states desired to buy the land from the tribes. At that time Chief White Cloud went up onto what is now called King Hill, to pray. While there he saw that the white man would take over and in tears he led the people to surrender the land. White Clouds experience on King Hill preserved a remnant of the tribes in this area, for surely if he did not sign to sell, the price of blood would have followed. Now the USA flag flies triumphantly upon that will, overlooking the south side of Saint Joseph.

a fruitful tree among the tribes

Genesis 49

1 And Jacob called his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together, and I will tell you what will befall you at the end of days.
2 Assemble yourselves, and hear, ye sons of Jacob, And listen to Israel your father.

22 Joseph is a fruitful branch; A fruitful tree by a well; his branches shoot over the wall.

This morning when I came to my phone there was a text from one of the Levites of Israel. It started thus,"a good name is better than precious onintment." What a good name you have O, Saint Joseph, Missouri. What a precious thing in my sight today,is the name of Joseph upon this ground. This name is incorporated into this ground by the word of the oath. The boundaries are legally set. A line is drawn, inside it is Saint Joseph. The name of Holy Joseph is the strong reality and destiny of this spot. All the world recognizes this piece of land as Saint Joseph! Someone in a far off land, can write a letter and put a name and address in saint Joseph, Missouri, then pay a little price and that letter will come to this great spot on the Missouri river.

The picture above is taken inside the Buchannan CountyCourt House, This is the center of the authority of the name of Joseph on this ground. The native tribes said this was holy ground. Some said it is the holiest on earth. And it has now come to be called Holy Joseph! The Word came to America and to this place and agrees with the tribes. The Word has brought the name of Joseph to rest upon this spot. The Branch of Joseph has come to this place! I thank the heavenly Father for Saint Joseph, Missouri. Anyone who stands right with the Word of the oath in Saint Joseph has an open heaven above and all the reality of the name at hand.

When Joseph Robidoux was planted in his fur business here, it was not a part of the State of Missouri. This land by writing belonged to the tribes. Possession of land by the authority that is written was a foreign thought to the tribes here. They were learning,as again and again they wrote with those much more skilled in the legal matters that writing is. The French Joseph did not stay within the boundries, but true to his name, he branched over the wall, as is written in the Book. He entered out into the tribal land and established himself as a fruitful tree, in the midst of the tribes. From this little seed a city rapidly grew. Truly the west would be tamed from here!

pioneering through Saint Joseph

Do you realize that Columbus discovered America for us? And Lewis and Clark traveled up the Missouri River and camped here, for us? And Joseph Robidoux came here and build a fur empire that would become the city of Saint Joseph, for us! And all the history of saint Joseph from 1843 to 2011 is also for us. O, it serves the whole city in a general way, but it serves the sons of God in a particular way.

Before 1700 the tribes moved about the land and harvested the animals lightly. They made hardly more damage to the environment than the other beasts of the area. But now the Frenchmen began to come. they were pioneers of a great wave of peoples who would dramatically change the environment. The animals and the tribal people would both become consumed at a rate that brought them to near extinction. The Buffalo furs would become so valuable that whole herds would eventually be slaughtered and their meated carcases left on the prairie, only the fur taken. Joseph Robidoux was a fur trader. He pioneered into the Missouri river from Saint Louis to where Council Bluffs now stands. Council Bluffs was a place where tribes gathered to meet. Joseph come to trade with them. Another man, named John Jacob Astor owned the American Fur company. Through dealings with them, Joseph would eventually end up in Blacksnake landing where Saint Joseph now stands. Through the sacrifice of animals for the fur, he gained a foothold in this tribal land. It was through their shedding of blood that our city came to be. Today I appreciate their sacrifice. I often imagine of late, what this spot was like two hundred years ago. I go back to my childhood when I use to spend many hours in the woods hunting squirrels. It helps me to imagine the days when very few people were here ,and even no white men. I am sure this area was the same for thousands of years, but that was about to change. The new world had come to time to yield treasures that would hurl all into the modern age of great technology. All these things now serve, but the greatest service to the sons of God in the way is the name of their city. This place had to be called Saint Joseph! It is now a great door in the midst of America. A door that the holy walk through on the road to the New Jerusalem.

From the garden of Eden to the New Jerusalem via Saint Joseph

All the sons of God are sent into the world in a timely mission according to the council of the Father before the world was. The world is arranged to manifest the sons of God in due time. All things serve them according to the purpose. where each was born and when and who to, are all arranged. Cities are formed in order to have proper environment to bring them forth. All creation groans in sin and death waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God. Many of the sons place roles of preparation throughout the age before manifestation. All the sons have a role in this. Together we are walking in a long history that goes from the garden of Eden into the Holy City New Jerusalem to the Father enthroned in Him in His only begotten son Jesus Christ. The journey first becomes a great fall into sin and death where by nature all men are constituted Sin. Then the gospel path opens. One son hears the curse and offers out of it in his presumed righteousness. The other hears the blessing and follows the lamb to offer anther's righteousness. This son sacrifices unto death and his blood is first to cry out from the ground. Those that have an ear to hear can hear it speaking still. It opened the way for the sons of God in the line of Seth. The faith of the sons of God values the blood of Abel and does not go in the way of Cain. Our history comes down the Seth line even to this day. All that has passed before us who are here in 2011 now serves for the sons of God to mature as is necessary for the coming transfiguration into glory. The sons of God are called out of their history, but in that calling the history of faith is theirs.

The past two millenniums has been a baptism wherein all are as in a great sea. The sons of God take up their history in Jesus who walks upon this seas. In believing into Him we arise above it to see even its history. Revelation 1-3 shows the history in seven cities. These seven local churches are the bridge across the age. They are the measure of the age. Now on this side each of the sons of God can and must plug his city into it as the 8Th. Then the angel of the city Will serve to fellowship with you unto your maturity and glorious manifestation. I write of my local church, Saint Joseph and I invite others in other cities to share of the bread given on this now holy ground. I write to the sons of God in Saint Joseph and those who have been here and those that shall be. I pray that you each gain the precious holy think needed to return to our heavenly Father, for it is here. And I write to the Angel of the church in Saint Joseph, bless you in your service to the faith of the son of man.

Take off your shoes

your feet are on holy ground.

Holy Ground

I am writing from a place in the center of North America. Here in the center of one of the seven lands across seven seas is a town called Saint Joseph. It is a holy place which the Lord has chosen to accomplish a hidden work.

Before the Europeans came here, there were a number of tribes in this area. What is now called the Missouri river was the roadway they used. Before horse came to America, these tribe found the river as the way to travel through the land. One of these tribes came to be called the Missouria. This means "those that dug out canoes" This tribe was an off shoot of the Sioux which are also called the Lakota.

The peoples of America were not writers. There is no history they have written. The word came from Europe. Probably the first words written at the place I now write, were on July 7, 1804. At that time the Lewis and Clark expedition camped in the what is now saint Joseph. They called in Saint Michael's Prairie. At that time the river ran around it to the west. In 1952 a flood changed the course of the river. Rosecrans Airport now stands about were they camped, but the river is now east of there.

Tribal peoples considered this place to be holy. In the world this Word is man very unholy in the way it is used. Let us bring the holiness of it forth. This Word "holy" comes from the Greek word hagios. It means sacred. It is the same as sanctify. Saint, sanction, sanctuary, sacred, holiness are all of this word. It is the Hebrew word- kodesh. It means to separate to the very nature of the Holy God. To write about Saint Joseph requires we first establish the Word-holy. when something is truly holy it means that God watches over it and guards it for His purpose to be revealed. I write now to hold saint Joseph true to its name.
